How we got here

Neža is the planner, the perfectionist, the princess, and (by her own admission) a little bit of a drama queen. She has an itinerary for every trip, a backup itinerary in case the first one fails, and probably a spreadsheet somewhere just for fun. She's always searching for the next adventure, the next goal, or the next "perfect" moment.

Miha, on the other hand, is the calm in the chaos. He's spontaneous, down-to-earth, and firmly believes that "we'll figure it out" is a perfectly acceptable life strategy - and somehow, against all odds, it usually works.

While we couldn't be more different in how we approach life, we've always shared the same values and looked in the same direction. We're both ambitious, passionate about the things we care about, and determined to make the most of every opportunity life gives us. We love travelling, discovering new places, meeting new people, and creating unforgettable memories along the way. We celebrate each other's successes, support each other through the setbacks, and somehow always end up moving towards the same goals - even if we take completely different paths to get there.

Our journey hasn't always been easy, but it has always been worth it. One of the biggest leaps we ever took was moving to a new country together without knowing what the future would hold.

Even before that, we spent more than a year in a long-distance relationship, learning how to stay connected despite the distance. And even in the difficult moments - like after one particularly serious argument, when one of us took a 12-hour overnight bus just to be there the next morning so we could talk things through - we proved to ourselves that no challenge was bigger than our commitment to making things work.

Of course, no great love story is complete without at least one plot twist. Miha had planned the perfect proposal during our dream trip to the Philippines... until he was denied boarding because his passport was expiring too soon (the spontaneous guy who never plans anything!). So instead of getting engaged on a tropical beach, we ended up spending a few days on opposite sides of the world.

Looking back, we've realised that our differences have never been an obstacle - they've always been our greatest strength. One of us makes the plan, while the other makes sure we actually enjoy it. One dreams about the perfect moment, while the other reminds us that the unexpected ones often become the most unforgettable.

After everything we've been through - the distance, the challenges, and all the incredible experiences we've shared along the way - we're excited for the next chapter: celebrating our wedding with the people we love most. Having everyone we care about together in one place - despite living in different countries and on different continents - is something truly special, and a moment we know we'll always cherish. We can't wait to celebrate this day with all of you.
